I tried experimenting with my new watercolors today and I also made a papercut collage…thing.
I’ve never really used watercolors before so I guess you could say that this is my first try at them.
I used tissue paper to make the clouds. I started with a rather wet wash and then used tissue to dab at the water. The tissue absorbed the paint and made the cloud shapes as well. I like this particular clump of clouds a lot.
I’m not sure what this is supposed to be. I was poking the brush around. It looks kinda like my brush dripped water all over it.
And the papercut collage. The collage is supposed to reflect the theme of “climate change”. I doubt anyone would link it to climate change on first sight though.
